Amazon Meal Kits

I began working on Amazon Meal Kits supporting the Amazon Go design lead to translate a beautiful concept into a scalable package design system. That freelance job was my foot in the door at Amazon and a total game changer in my career. I couple years later I was a full time ACD with this amazing team of food developers and got to influence the brand a second time as it rolled out in Whole Foods Market stores.
I directed the food photography on some of the early sprints, including the salmon dishes shown here and in the masthead of this page
In my short term freelance period, I set up SOPs with the recipe writer, regulatory manager, photo team and print production. I made templates and guides to enable category rollout with a “hands off the wheel” approach to design oversight.
